At Conte Dental, our top priority is to keep our patients and staff safe. Our state of the art sterilization and infection control exceeds the CDC, ADA, and OSHA guidelines every day. In addition to current safety protocols you have experienced at our office, we have made some changes in our office and treatment rooms that will reduce the risk of infections from airborne pathogen transmission.
We have installed an FDA compliant air purification system designed to be used in health care facilities. It will purify every cubic inch of air that reaches our central air conditioning system. It has HEPA filters and UV sanitizing lights in the ductwork. This new system is proven to eliminate viruses including COVID-19, bacteria, and mold.
In every treatment room, we have installed an extra oral dental suction system. This system will eliminate aerosols and protect our treatment rooms against aerosol creating procedures that could contain COVID-19. You now can have the confidence that our treatment rooms are as safe as they can be.
You will now find touch-free faucets in our treatment rooms and lavatories.
ADDITIONAL STEPS WE ARE TAKING :
*Staff Training: each member of our team has completed a COVA-19 awareness and prevention program.
*Daily health checks for our staff. No contact temperatures are taken and patient questions provide safe dental care every day.
*ASTM Level 3 masks or N95 masks are worn by our clinical team for protection.
*FDA approved Face Shields will be worn by our clinical staff.
ADDITIONAL STEPS WE ARE ASKING OUR PATIENTS TO TAKE:
*Everyone is required to wear a mask before entering the office.
*Pre-Screening of every patient includes a no-touch temperature check and a few brief questions when you arrive.
*Every patient will be asked to thoroughly wash their hands before entering the treatment room.
*We will ask you to rinse with a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide rinse for 60 seconds to reduce viruses and bacteria.
PLEASE: NO PATIENT GLOVES ARE ALLOWED AND KEEP SOCIAL DISTANCING IN PLACE. You will see fewer chairs in our reception area and one-way traffic in our treatment area.
BE ASSURED, WE THOROUGHLY WIPE, SANITIZE AND DISINFECT ALL EQUIPMENT AND SURFACES IN EACH TREATMENT ROOM AFTER EACH PATIENT.
